April Community Clay Date 4/28 @ 1pm - Trophies For Trying Times

Community Clay Date is intended to create a space to explore your relationship with your hands and the wonderful material, clay, in a community space.

• This is a handbuilding class for ALL levels - no experience required. And yes, you are creative enough to participate.

• To promote relationship-building with self and to minimize distractions while maximizing creative capacity, the only tools we will use in class are our hands (or basic tools only when necessary)!

• This class will be instructed, but loosely, to allow individual creative expression; this space is where guidance and freedom meet.

• Each class will have a unique form that participants will be gently guided to make. But self-expression is key, so if you are compelled to make another form then that is quite alright - it simply won’t be guided.

• Pieces made in the session will not be glazed (not food-safe), but they will be precious.

• Pieces made in the session will be fired and ready for studio pick-up within 3 weeks of the play date. ALL PIECES MUST BE PICKED UP THAT WEEK or they will be forfeited.

Class is for those 18 years of age and up. (If you want to bring a little person, please email me ahead of time to approve).

Materials and firings are included in the price - simply show up!
